Simpson’s Lower Snake River Dams breaching proposal is a game changer and Orca Conservancy applauds this most recent effort towards not only protecting rights of Tribal Nations; but also to recover wild Snake River salmon populations from going extinct -- salmon populations the endangered Southern Resident killer whales needs to survive.

It is our belief ... the Southern Resident killer whale population deserves a seat at the table, and our knowledge and expertise will further assist with this monumental and historical undertaking.
